Continuing his tour across the country, Andy Burnham has been in Barrow-in-Furness backing Starmer’s investment plan into nuclear submarines. This ties together with a commitment to reindustrialise Britain and promise more apprenticeships for NEETs. But despite policy pledges on employment, the economy and social care this week – small boats have been a story dominating the headlines.
