Pro-Gaza MP Ayoub Khan stooped to a new low today as he cast doubt on the Israeli investigation into the Flydubai cockpit stabbing. The British-Pakistani politician, who has called for Britain to wage war against Israel, claimed to be ‘shocked’ by the speed with which security officials established what had happened on the flight.
Sharing a BBC article detailing the jihadist attack, Khan wrote: ‘I am genuinely shocked as to the speed of this enquiry by the Israeli spokespeople!!! Normally it takes them months, if not years. I think I smell a rat!’ He continued: ‘I believe the most powerful MP in parliament is not the PM but the one that can speak without fear or favour!!!!!!!’
It came as Benjamin Netanyahu revealed today that the co-pilot who tried to hijack the Tel Aviv-bound plane had ‘undergone Islamist radical indoctrination’. Bibi told Fox News that the Omani national was ‘suicidal’ and intended to crash the plane, killing himself and everyone else on board.
Almost as pathetic as Khan’s conspiracy theorising was Red Ed Miliband’s pitiful response to the ‘incident’. Hours after the attack, the Palestine-pandering Foreign Secretary posted on X: ‘Deeply concerned about the incident that occurred on the Flydubai flight to Israel and very relieved that the plane landed safely thanks to the actions of those on board. All of my thoughts are with those injured in the attack and all those on the plane, as well as their families.’
Oren Marmorstein, head of the European Bureau at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, swiftly replied: ‘Mr Foreign Secretary, you misspelt the word “terror”.’ Israeli parliamentary candidate Yoseph Haddad added: ‘We don’t need your “concern” Ed.’
It’s safe to say, Red Ed’s diplomatic intervention did not exactly fly.
