Below is the full legal advice of the 'Star Chamber' - a group of lawyers assembled by the ERG and the DUP to scrutinise May's arrangements on the backstop. The members of the Star Chamber are: William Cash, Nigel Dodds (DUP), David Jones, Dominic Raab, Suella Braverman, Michael Tomlinson, Robert Courts, and Martin Howe, QC. They have reached the same conclusion as Geoffrey Cox, that the United Kingdom would have, no 'internationally lawful means of exiting the Protocol’s arrangements, save by agreement.
