The tragedy of Laura Loomer

From our US edition

I first met Laura Loomer in the New York office of Project Veritas. She was blonde then, feisty, smart and ambitious. She was also fearless. Because of her outspoken views regarding the dangers of radical Islam – views that I largely share – her career as an investigative journalist and advocate was severely hampered. She became possibly the most censored woman on the planet; forbidden from placing her warnings about Sharia law and radical Islam on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Even Uber banned her. In 2020, Loomer decided to make a valiant race for Congress against Democrat incumbent Lois Frankel in an overwhelmingly blue Florida district, which happened to include Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s club and winter residence.

Is Trump making America Florida?

31 min listen

Freddy Gray is joined by political operator and consultant Roger Stone, a Floridian, to discuss Trump’s cabinet appointees. Susie Wiles, Marco Rubio, Matt Gaetz are all part of Trump’s new team – what’s behind Florida's growing influence within the Republican Party?

Did Matt Gaetz do nothing wrong?

37 min listen

On Tuesday, the New York Times reported that congressman Matt Gaetz is being investigated over whether he had sex with a 17-year-old and paid for her to travel with him. Freddy Gray speaks to Roger Stone, former adviser to Donald Trump and a friend of Gaetz, about the story.

Roger Stone: the New York Times is smearing me again

From our US edition

The New York Times is using guilt by association to imply that I was somehow involved in or had advanced knowledge of the senseless riot at the US Capitol on January 6. It’s a classic hit piece that takes journalistic sleights of hand to a new low. Legally speaking, it’s a high-tech but transparent plate of steaming horseshit. I have acknowledged using a voluntary security detail provided by a group called the Oath Keepers. The New York Times now claims that members of my voluntary security detail were among those inside the Capitol. The Times claims that six Oath Keepers they identify as guarding me at the Willard Hotel earlier on January 6 were also inside the Capitol later that day.

Roger Stone: no new party needed for America

From our US edition

Many Trump supporters are rightly upset over the Republican establishment’s abandonment of the 45th president. But those calling for the the establishment of a new ‘patriot party’ are making a grave error and could inadvertently guarantee Democratic party victories long into the future. Whether the senators, congressmen, governors and party chieftains like it or not, the Republican party has been recast as the ‘America First’ party by the most recent inhabitant of the White House. They may all want to go back — but the genie is out the bottle. The Trump agenda is still both popular and dominant in Republican primaries. There is no reason for conservatives to leave what Sen.

Roger Stone: why Trump should skip the Miami debate

From our US edition

While I have great confidence in President Trump’s skill as a debater and recognize him as perhaps the greatest counter-puncher in American political history, I strongly urge him not to attend the second Presidential Commission debate scheduled for October 15 in Miami. It is important to note that the so-called 'Presidential Commission on Debates' is not appointed by the President, is not a commission, and its real purpose is to limit debate. The Presidential Commission on debates is a privately run nonprofit. The President and the Democratic candidate for President have no obligation to agree to the Commission’s format, moderators or length.

Nixon and me

From our US edition

The day after Special Counsel Robert Mueller arrested and charged me, the Nixon Foundation falsely claimed that I had no relationship with the former president. The Nixon Foundation’s statement is ludicrous. The Foundation is run by people who never actually met Richard Nixon. In 1972, I was a junior member of Nixon’s re-election campaign staff. I have pled not guilty to Mueller’s charges, and am respecting a gag order issued by the judge. But on the question of my warm and extensive relationship with President Nixon, the record must be corrected. In 1972, as the youngest staff member on the Committee to Re-elect the President, I shook the great man’s hand only once, when he toured the re-election headquarters.

Roger Stone: I will be vindicated

From our US edition

Undisclosed location, Florida In January, when heavily armed FBI agents swarmed my south Florida home in the predawn hours to arrest me for a series of process crimes, it changed my life far more than I ever imagined. The judge in my case has issued a gag order so I am not permitted to discuss the case, the prosecution, the court or the specific charges against me and will not do so here. As the judge said, the place for talking is in court — and that time will come. *** A vast American television audience was allowed to view the spectacle
of my arrest, because CNN arrived
15 minutes before the FBI swat team. CNN denies it was tipped off, instead chalking its good fortune up to a ‘hunch’. President Trump asked in a tweet
‘Who alerted CNN?
