A Wall Street Journal article this week delves into Cami Clark, the wife and key advisor to Anthropic’s Dario Amodei. “There are scant details about Clark online – and efforts have been made to remove references to her,” the Journal reports. One reason for this could be Clark’s past exploits running Eddice, an online sex magazine-cum-blog – and how at one point she sought investment from, oops, Jeffrey Epstein.

Wired for sound Rumors abound about god king’s exit The right-wing media rumor mill threatened to spin off its axis earlier this week with the shock announcement that “god king” Jeremy Boreing was stepping down as co-CEO of the Daily Wire. Boreing, a keen film enthusiast who starred, wrote and directed in the Wire’s comedy movie Lady Ballers, is withdrawing to “focus on creative projects for the company,” per Axios’s Sara Fischer. The DW’s many detractors had a field day with the news – speculating that there was more to the story. Boreing and Ben Shapiro had fallen out, one hater claimed, and were retaining different PR agents to brief against each other!

The news came in the form of an X post from Wire CEO and Lady Ballers star Jeremy Boreing this morning: “Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship.”  “The rumors are true — I am finally free,” Owens tweeted shortly after, along with a plug for her Locals page, a link to a site where you can donate her money and a pledge of more to come.  The separation comes shortly after Owens said she’d “stake my entire professional reputation on the fact that Brigitte Macron is in fact a man,” making her exit a big win for trans rights. As they say en France, quand on vient pour la reine, il ne faut pas la manquer.

Ever since the House Ethics Committee released its damning report on George Santos yesterday, the chatter has been non-stop. Yes, it appears the flamboyant fabulist used campaign funds to subscribe to sex workers on OnlyFans — but whose content is Santos paying for?  Two early claimants have emerged on Twitter/X. First, from plus-size porn star Leila Lewis. “THIS GUY WAS SUBBED TO ME HAHAHAHA,” she tweeted, following up with “i rated his dick 😭😭😭.” An unenviable prospect.  The other comes from Twitch streamer Soogz1, who boasts 2.3 million Twitter/followers. “my top spender 🥹🫶,” she wrote yesterday, along with a screenshot purporting to show that a user called George Santos had spent $435,621.13 on her content — $340,752.

Candace Owens fallout at the Daily Wire Cockburn’s spies have heard that the Candace Owens's recent antics have internally divided her colleagues at the Daily Wire. Some found her defense of her buddy Kanye West's antisemitic comments gross, but Jeremy Boreing, the company's CEO, is said to have a soft spot for Candace — and is circling the wagons. In case you missed it: Candace came to Kanye’s defense after he tweeted that he was going to "go death con 3 on Jewish people." Owens claimed that, "If you are an honest person, you did not think this tweet was antisemitic.” That’s right reader: it’s your fault for interpreting it all wrong. Cockburn also hears that the Wire's use of NDAs is keeping disgruntled former staffers quiet.
