The Illinois Senate tries to end the embarrassment, convicts Blagojevich

Rod Blagojevich, the Illinois governor accused of trying to auction off Barack Obama’s old Senate seat, has been convicted in a unanimous vote of the Illinois Senate in his impeachment trial.
