Elizabeth Buchanan

Dr Elizabeth Buchanan is an international affairs analyst with expertise in polar geopolitics. She is a former Australian Department of Defence official, where she was Head of Navy Research and the inaugural 1st Sea Lord Five Eyes Fellow. Elizabeth is senior fellow at Washington’s Center for the National Interest, a visiting fellow with the French Ministry of Armed Forces and senior fellow at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute where she leads the Polar Security Program.
