Kamala Harris has spent the better part of the last week off the campaign trail and planting herself in the middle of New York City, finally making herself available to questions about what kind of president she will be. She faced one minor tough grilling while appearing on 60 Minutes and has now completed what her own campaign referred to as a media blitz, appearing all in the same day on The View, The Howard Stern Show and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert — all with hosts and moderators who have declared their unwavering support for Harris.While traveling to New York, she marched toward reporters on an airport tarmac to pick a fight with Governor Ron DeSantis over a media report that he was refusing her phone calls.

New York Post and Washington Examiner fall for Tom Brady Twitter hoax

Cockburn doesn't pay all much attention to football, but he was surprised to read on Wednesday that former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said he was 'tired' of people criticizing Donald Trump. 'The guy is doing his best to help the country. I'd like to see his critics try to do better in his position,' Brady supposedly said, according to reports in the New York Post and Washington Examiner. Cockburn saw several MAGA people sharing the quote victoriously on Twitter, but is at pains to inform them that it is a spoof. Brady, who is headed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the upcoming NFL season (whenever that is), did give a candid interview about Trump to Howard Stern this morning.

I hope Artie Lange is OK

Artie Lange has disappeared. His gigs are canceled. His podcast is on hiatus. His social media is hardly being updated. The legendary comedian is apparently ‘sick’ but fans suspect that something else might be going on. You needn’t be Sherlock Holmes to be suspicious about his absence. Lange has been flitting in and out of rehab for the past 25 years.God knows I hope that Lange is sick. The comedian has emerged out of the depths of an addiction so dramatic that his nose imploded like an overripe tomato after years of snorting cocaine and heroin. (According to Lange, the obliteration of his beak was the result of snorting drugs mixed with broken glass.
